Benjamin Porter began his legal career over 20 years ago with the largest family law firm in the nation, where his commitment to excellence quickly set him apart. He was recognized as the firm’s Top Overall Performer, an award that reflected both his skill in negotiation and his ability to guide clients through difficult family transitions with empathy and precision. In 2009, Ben founded The Porter Law Firm, LLC, driven by a mission to provide personal, compassionate representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Over the years, Ben has handled more than 2,000 divorce and family law cases throughout the state of Georgia. His approach is grounded in understanding, strategy, and practical resolution. Having personally experienced divorce while in law school—with a three-year-old daughter at the time—Ben resolved his own case amicably outside of court. That experience deeply shaped his philosophy: to help families find peaceful, fair outcomes without unnecessary conflict whenever possible.

Today, Ben is a proud father to his now-adult daughter, age 26, and continues to help Georgia families navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with professionalism and compassion. Outside of his law practice, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, investing in real estate, reading, and playing pickleball. His life and work both reflect a single guiding principle—integrity, resilience, and a commitment to helping others rebuild and move forward.
